Spring in Vienna 2024

The goal of this course is to prepare Spring in Vienna students for their quarter abroad. We will explore Vienna’s imperial past and the city’s contemporary metropolitan culture. We will also focus on important practical tasks to get you ready for an immersive experience in Vienna. Students will actively contribute to forming a productive learning community by researching pertinent topics and preparing presentations on different subjects for discussion in class. Former participants and other guests will be invited to share their perspectives and students may ask specific questions about living and studying in Vienna.
Requirements: Class participation and projects/presentations in class.
