MORGAN KOERNER (PhD 2007) recently received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor at the College of Charleston (South Carolina). His research interests include contemporary German theater, comedy, and theater and creative writing in foreign language pedagogy. He has published articles on Christoph Schlingensief and on theater and creative writing as approaches to teaching foreign language literature and culture. He is currently teaching a theater course on postdramatic theater that will culminate in a public performance. This summer, he will give a talk on the course at the conference of the International Drama/Theater in Education Association in Paris.  Congratulations, Morgan! We are proud of your professional achievements!

He shared with us the poster for a recent theatrical project (see below).  We wish we were in Charleston so that we could be transformed along with the other lucky audience members!
