Anthropocene Research Circle announced for 2016-17 academic year

Jason Groves and collaborator Jesse Oak Taylor (English) are happy to announce the Anthropocene Research Circle, funded by the Simpson Center for the Humanities as part of the Simpson Center Research Cluster on the Anthropocene. Several lectures and events have already been scheduled for the 2016-17 year:

  • Thursday October 6 (3pm) first meeting (reading group for Menely lecture)
  • Wednesday October 12 (4pm) Tobias Menely public lecture
  • Thursday October 13 (12pm) Tobias Menely informal brown bag seminar
  • Wednesday April 5th (4pm) Etienne Turpin public lecture
  • Thursday April 6th (12 pm) Etienne Turpin informal brown bag seminar
  • Thursday May 11th (12pm) Claire Colebrook informal brown bag seminar
  • Thursday May 11 (4pm) Claire Colebrook public lecture
