Undergraduate Awards and Scholarships:

The German Studies faculty have selected the following outstanding students to be this year's recipients of our undergraduate prize for excellence:

--German Literary Studies: Shannon M. Paeth

--German Cultural Studies: Aileen M. Laubach

--German Language: Cassandra Benson

This award was endowed by Prof. Sammy McLean.

Rachel Lundeen was awarded the prestigious Mary Katherine Mackenzie and Mary Ann Whitmore Endowed Scholarship.

Graduate Scholarship

Inga Schwemin was awarded the Chester William Fritz Scholarship. Inga also received a Max Kade Dissertation Grant awarded by the American Friends of Marbach for her stay at the DLA and a Graduate Student Travel and Research Fund by the Goethe Society of North America to support her research in Germany.

The new time is 4pm on Thursday, June 12th, in Denny 359, the German Seminar Room.
