The University of Washington’s German Club is organizing weekly meetups for students to hang out, practice their language skills, watch German films together and play some German board games. Recently, they facilitated a ‘Study Slam’ to help prepare 100 and 200 level language students for their final exams.
Kaffeestunde
This weekly social event provides students from all levels of German with the opportunity to practice and use their language skills in a relaxed and semi-structured setting. Drawing on an important aspect of German culture, Kaffeezeit, students have the experience of socializing with friends and meeting new people over a cup of coffee, all while improving their language skills.

German Club: Weekly Stammtisch
German Club will continue to meet for Stammtisch every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30pm, starting the second week of the spring quarter 2022 at Denny Hall, Room 359. Come and join us to play board games, socialize, and learn some German.

IM GESPRÄCH
- Unwind on Thursday evenings
Meeting 1: Thursday, April 28 :: 8-9pm
Meeting 2: Thursday, May 26 :: 8-9pm
- Students will practice German in relaxed, engaging conversations.
- Im Gespräch is tailored to 300-level and 400-level German students, as well as students who have equivalent German skills.
Meetings will be held via Zoom.
